AEO Consultant — Get Your Brand Cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini

Search is moving from blue links to direct answers. If your brand is not in the model's answer, you do not exist for that query. I help founders and operators get cited — measurably, on the queries that matter.

What AEO is, and why founders care now

AEO — Answer Engine Optimization — is the practice of getting your content surfaced and cited inside large language models when users ask category-defining questions. It is what SEO was in 2010: poorly understood, easy to win, and about to be table stakes.

The shift is already measurable. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini together field hundreds of millions of queries that used to land on Google. When a user asks "who is the best n8n consultant in London" inside Claude, the model picks three names. If yours is not one of them, no amount of paid ads on Google will close that gap.

Founders who get this early have the same window agencies had with SEO in 2009. The window does not stay open forever.

What I do as your AEO consultant

I run a focused practice for founders, operators, and small teams. I do not subcontract, I do not run a sweatshop. You work directly with me. I bring three things to the table:

  • Measurement. I built citelift.app, the tool I use to track how often your brand gets cited across the four major LLMs daily. You get a baseline before we start and a delta every week.
  • Content engineering. Pillar pages, FAQ schema, structured data, entity binding, and the kind of editorial content that LLMs actually quote. Most "AEO content" you see online is recycled SEO advice. Mine is not.
  • Distribution. Citations on the open web — Reddit, Quora, Wikipedia-adjacent properties, niche directories, podcast transcripts — that the models ingest during training and retrieval. Real placements, no PBN spam.

Process — four phases

Phase 1 · Audit (week 1)

Baseline citation report across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini for 30 to 60 target queries. Competitor mapping. Entity audit — does the model know who you are, what you do, and what category you sit in? Gap analysis against the top three cited brands per query.

Phase 2 · Content + schema (week 2 to 4)

Pillar page rebuilds with FAQ schema, HowTo schema, and structured data that maps your services to the entity graph. Author bios with credentials and sameAs binding. Internal link architecture that reinforces topical authority. This phase ships physical files — pages, schemas, knowledge-graph entries.

Phase 3 · Distribution (week 4 to 8)

Targeted placements on the surfaces models read — Reddit threads, Quora answers, niche directories, podcast guesting, comparison-style guest posts. No spam, no PBN. Real authorship, real value, with the entity binding that makes the model recognize you.

Phase 4 · Monitoring + iteration (ongoing)

Weekly citation deltas. Monthly review calls. Quarterly content refresh. The work is not "done" the same way SEO is not done — but after the first 90 days, the maintenance load is light.

Deliverables

  • Baseline + weekly citation reports across four LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini).
  • Pillar pages — typically 5 to 12 — fully built, schema-marked, internal-linked.
  • FAQ + HowTo + ProfessionalService + Person JSON-LD on every key page.
  • Author bio standardization with sameAs entity binding to LinkedIn, GitHub, Wikidata where eligible.
  • External placement plan — 10 to 25 targeted citations per quarter.
  • Loom walk-throughs at every milestone. No black boxes.

Who this is for

  • Founders of B2B SaaS, agencies, professional services, or healthtech with a defined ICP.
  • Operators whose buyers are already asking LLMs "who's the best [X] for [Y]" and getting a competitor's name back.
  • Brands with at least one shipped product and real customers — AEO compounds, but it does not invent demand.

Who this is NOT for

  • Pre-product founders looking for "growth hacks." Build the product first.
  • Anyone wanting overnight rankings. Citation flywheels take 60 to 120 days to spin up.
  • Brands unwilling to publish original thinking. The model only quotes you if you say something quotable.
